How to attach an existing Validation Rule to an existing Column as a Check Constraint? (4293877)

Description:

I want to attach the an existing Validation Rule to a Column.  However, the Validation Rules that are defined within the model aren't available under the Constraint tab of the Column editor.  How to attach an existing Validation Rule to an existing Column as a Check Constraint?

Solution:

To associate a Validation Rule as a Check Constraint to a Column, you will first need to create a Check Constraint at the Column Level as follows:

Click on the Orange icon to create a Check Constraint for the required Column, it will give a default name which can be changed.  Now that Check Constraint can then be associated with an existing Validation Rule.
