How to: Set the ForwardingAddress using a TSV file. (4293403)

We have defined a collection for 2 users who have different SMTP domains. For example :

user1@mycompany.com
user2@othercompany.com

We have a shared name space between Domino and Exchange (no subdomains). We want to use NME to set the Forwarding Address field in the Notes Person Document. As it is a common name space between Domino and Exchange the forwarding addresses for the 2 users are exactly the same as the Internet Address Field.

According to the documentation, you populate the TSV file with a TargetForwardingAddress to be set. So, what options do we use in the wizard to set the Forwarding Address field to the value in the imported TSV file?

1. Edit the TSV to include the TargetFowardingAddress.
2. Save and Close the file making sure that the TSV format is maintained.
3. Import the TSV back into NME.
4. Run the Migrate User Wizard [see the screen shots below for more details]:

In the Manage Mail Routing section of the Data Migration Wizard, Specify the Mail Routing Options:

Choose SMTP for the Mail Co-existence is using option.

On the next screen, Set the Forwarding address.

Complete the Wizard.

You should have set a forwarding address for the user.

Note: The value in the TargetForwardingAddress column is not immediately applied to the users’ Active Directory objects when the value is imported into the SQL Server database. The value is applied in AD only when the corresponding forwarding feature is invoked.
