Issue:
With Customers using Casewise Suite 2016.2.3 and all versions of CWSuite 2018 if they have enabled global search they cannot see some of the drop list associations and cannot search for any on the field
Solution:
This is a bug in the CW Suite 2016.2.3 and all versions of CWSuite 2018 that was resolved in Evolve Suite 2020R1 so upgrade will resolve this issue.
If the customer is not currently in a position to upgrade they can disable Global search in Evolve designer and then publish the site this is a workaround to get the fields to work but does mean they are not able to use Global Search
