Unable to commit changes on a mail synch job, and error in EMWMigration.log aeEMWCommit::CQueueItemProp::Error in EMWDBCC::CRecordset::Update: 3315 - Field Queue.Name cannot be a zero-length string.
This can be caused by target objects (mailboxes or groups) in the collection either no longer being mailbox-enabled, or a third party tool, e.g. MIIS has caused some of the required attributes of mailbox-enabled objects to be blanked.
Open the config.mdb file from the appropriate agent folder (according to the log file) using MS Access. Open the MEMBERSOFCOLLECTION table, and see if any rows have blank entries in the ADSPATH column. This column should contain the LegacyExchangeDN attribute.
Mailbox-enable any target objects affected by the above, or correct any missing LegacyExchangeDN attributes as well as the underlying cause of the attributes being blanked.
Objects can be mailbox-enabled by including them within the scope of directory synchronization. To do this select the Active Directory Synchronization tab then browse to Synchronization under Directory Migration, right-click & select properties. The scope of the job is set under Specify Source Scope & Specify Target Scope options. It may be necessary to right-click Synchronization and select Start and Re-Sync to initiate re-synchronization.
