In the Connection Manger Window, I right click (or press the Delete key) and select 'Remove Selected Entry' on a database entry that I want to delete. When I do, I get the following error and I cannot remove the entry.
"<Database> is not a valid integer value"
This is a general bug identified in Toad 8.6.0.38. In Toad 9.7.2.5, the issue only occurs when you have grouped the connections (see attachment SOL14496.jpg.)
WORKAROUND 1:
If working with Toad v8.6.0.83 or v8.6.1, manually remove these erroneous connection entries from the CONNECTIONS.ini file. You can open this file with Notepad. Also, by default, the file is located in the "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\TOAD for Oracle\User Files."
WORKAROUND 2:
If working with Toad v9.7.2.5, ungroup your connection entries in the Connection Manager window, then delete the entries.
STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 10.0.0. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded at: http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp
