You may run across problems when attempting to uninstall an agent, and then reinstall and register the agent with InTrust. You may see the following error: "Cannot Initialize ADC". This may also appear when you attempt to start the InTrust Agent Service after installing the agent on a server.
This can be caused by corrupt registry entries on the agent side. It may also be caused if multiple agent installations were attempted in multiple locations on the same server.
WORKAROUND:
1) In the registry, delete the whole HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aelita\ADC key.
2) Do one of the following:
a. install the agent to c:\windows\adcagent\
OR
b. unregister our services by running the commands "sc delete <adcscm>" and "sc delete <adcscm_install", and then install the agent to a location of your choice.
