Does Spotlight allow a two way communication with SCOM? -
Description
SCOM sends out tones of alerts that floods e-mail boxes and paging systems during maintenance windows, but SCOM has a maintenance schedule module that can be used to prevent these floods alerts coming from SCOM. Can the SCOM maintenance schedule be sent to Spotlight and can Spotlight understand it.
On a more general level, is the communication two ways where Spotlight can accept input from SCOM, other then just send alerts to SCOM.

Resolution
The Spotlight SCOM Management pack doesn’t support 2 way communication between SCOM and Spotlight. The only things it can do at this time are acknowledge and snooze Spotlight Alarms that are displayed in the Dashboards in SCOM. There is no communication back to Spotlight if one of the SCOM alerts is closed etc. or a SCOM monitored computer is in an outage.Even with the latest 11.6, the only new feature is that the agent based monitoring of Spotlight Diagnostic Servers is now available in the 11.6 SCOM MP but it still just one way communication.
