I bought Toad for DB2 with SQL Optimizer. When I launch SQL Optimizer for DB2 it gave me an error message
"Authorization key has expired"
I tried to register with my Toad key and got the error:
"Invalid authorization key"
WORKAROUND 1
It may change over time but as of SQL Optimizer for DB2 version 3.0.0 there should be a separate product key from SQL Optimizer for DB2. If you are missing that key please contact licensing at license@quest.com.
WORKAROUND 2
If your authorization key comprises of alpha-numeric characters, then that key is formatted for SQL Optimizer for DB2 version 4.x onwards. Older versions uses numeric keys. Please download the latest version from SupportLink (http://support.quest.com).
WORKAROUND 3
If your SQL Optimizer is licensed through Toad for DB2, ensure you start and enter your Toad license key in Toad for DB2. Next start SQL Optimizer, go to Help | Licensing, and verify if SQL Optimizer is now licensed through Toad.
