As you can see the new versions have a whole new set of additional features and functionalities. Additionally, the longer the duration between the last and the new version to upgrade to, the harder it becomes for multiple reasons. The target database version of the older models may no longer be supported in the current version, other properties may have changed and even semantic check which did not check some anomalies may be exposed by the more robust check to reduce chances of models being compromised. For all these reasons, and the fact that your active current maintenance allows access to the current version free of cost, the sooner you upgrade, the better. Hope you take advantage of the new version.
