How to see Physical amount of memory on windows, Linux and Solaris hosts (4283701)

RESOLUTION 1:

Using Navigation Panel:

Go to Configuration | Data | Hosts | All Hosts | Expand needed host | Memory |Capacity | Current

RESOLUTION 2:

Using a new dashboard pointing to the host capacity metric.

·         Go to the action panel

·         Create new dashboard

·         Use all data & Next

·         Configure the basic properties of your custom dashboard – Next

·         Select the layout for your custom dashboard - Finish

·         Select input data and choose a view style. (Host\All Host\Target\Memory\Capacity Metric)

·         Make sure Metric View in checked and click Next

·         Specify the  Metric View (Charts, Gauges, list) and click Finish

·         Do the Same for every host that must be in the custom dashboard

RESOLUTION 3:

Recent versions of Foglight include the "Metrics Analyzer"  view which allows viewing the physical memory usage by adding the metrics for "capacity" and "consumed". For memory metrics, this can be accessed by clicking on the memory graph visible from the Infrastructure dashboard.
