Connecting to DB2 instance gave "CLI0199E Invalid connection string attribute. SQLSTATE=08001" -
Description
When trying to connect to any DB2 databases, Spotlight throws the following error:"CLI0199E Invalid connection string attribute. SQLSTATE=08001" -
Cause
Related to invalid characters in the db2dsdriver.cfg file. -
Resolution
Back up a copy of db2dsdriver.cfg, then delete everything in the file. By default the file is located in C:\ProgramData\IBM\DB2\DB2COPY1\cfg.
