Cause

This is by Design.
Resolution

Directory Synchronization should be configured to 'Mail-enabled users for Native Move' under 'Specify Exchange Options'
Once the AD account is mail-enabled, the the Native Move Migration Agent in Migration Manager for Exchange (MMEX) will bring the msExchArchiveGUID attribute over when the Mailbox is moved using the Native Move Agent.
