Client machines are experiencing long login times -
Cause
The machines are getting hung-up at ‘Defining OS-Specific Variables (in the SLTrace file), attempting to identify hotfixes that are present on the machine. -
Resolution
Open the Registry and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\ScriptLogic and create a REG_DWORD called ‘NoHotfixEnum’ and set it to ‘1’. This should be created in the Wow6432Node if on a 64-bit OS. This will prevent the query for Hot-Fixes and speed up the login time.
