This hotfix can be installed on an existing Foglight for Storage Management 4.6 or Foglight for Virtualization EE 8.8 installation.
To install this hotfix:
- Install and enable the cartridges in the following order:
- Storage-4_6_1.car
- If not installing into Foglight for Virtualization EE, also install FoglightBranding-4_6_1.car
- After installing the required cartridges, navigate to the Storage Environment > Administration dashboard to update all Storage agents.
Verifying successful completion
To determine if this hotfix is installed:
- Using the left panel, navigate to Administration > Cartridge > Cartridge inventory.
- Ensure that the Foglight for Storage Management components, Storage, Storage UI and StorageCollector contain this hotfix version.
Note: To display updated product version numbering, the updated branding cartridge must be installed. To ensure that the version number on the information icon updates to 4.6.1, install the FSMBranding-4_6_1.car file. If you do not install the branding .car file, the version will still appear as the version from which you upgraded.
