Description
Doing a describe (F4) for a view, i noticed that the 'Editable View Comments' panel occupies the entire 'Columns' tab of the 'Describe' window.

Resolution
STATUS: This is not an issue in Toad 10.6
WORKAROUND: 1. Go to 'View | Toad Options' 2. Go to the very bottom of the Options list and select 'Windows' 3. On the right-hand-side, you'll see 'Describe windows' 4. Change it from 'Grouped' to 'Stay on top' or 'MDI'
