Spotlight Client installation completed with "Setup Failed" -
Description
After running through the Spotlight exe installer, it gives the error "Setup Failed." The Diagnostic Server is installed but not the client. The Windows Event View shows the following:
Error 1316. The specified account already exists.

Cause
This is not a defect with the Spotlight Installer but a general Windows MSI installer issue. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
1. Check the Microsoft site to see if they have a FixIt for your particular Windows server.
2. Run the Spotlight MSI to install the client directly. The Spotlight Client MSI installer can be downloaded here: https://support.quest.com/spotlight-on-sql-server-enterprise/download-new-releases
