How to increase performance witb NMSP Migrations (4278762)

Migration is slow. Are there any recommendations to improve performance?

There are different ways how you can improve performance and speed up the migration:

- Install latest version of tool from http:\\support.quest.com
- Use the import service
- Use Shared folders for migration when there are attachments
- Split migration into smaller portions
- Run 2, or at most, 3 designer jobs in parallel
- Migrate to intermediate files first, then migrate those to SharePoint.
- If the migration job is migrating a lot of documents, make sure you do not have the job options set to replace duplicate files.
