Installing this hotfix
This hotfix can be installed on an existing Foglight for Storage Management 4.8.5, Foglight Evolve 9.2, or Foglight for Virtualization EE 8.9.2 installation.
To install this hotfix:
- Install and enable the cartridges in the following order:
- Storage-4_8_5_1.car
- If not installing into Foglight for Virtualization EE, also install FoglightBranding-4_8_5_1.car.
- After installing the required cartridges, navigate to the Storage Environment > Administration dashboard to update all Storage agents.
Verifying successful completion
To determine if this hotfix is installed:
- Using the left panel, navigate to Administration > Cartridge > Cartridge inventory.
- Ensure that the Foglight for Storage Management components, Storage, Storage UI, and StorageCollector contain this hotfix version 4.8.5.1.
Note: To display updated product version numbering, the updated branding cartridge must be installed. To ensure that the version number on the information icon updates to 4.8.5.1, install the FSMBranding-4_8_5_1.car file. If you do not install the branding .car file, the version will still appear as the version from which you upgraded.

Removing this hotfix
Once installed, this hotfix cannot be removed.
- Install and enable the cartridges in the following order:
