How to use Process Monitor to as a troubleshooting tool (4275018)

System Internals is a great tool to use to assist in locating what process maybe causing a perfomance issue. 

1. Use a browser and navigate to http://live.sysinternals.com.
2. Select procmon.exe and click run.
3. Create a filter to capture events just for Toad.exe. In the filter setup dialog, select "process" in the dropdown, "is" for the operator and "Toad.exe" for the value
4. Start the capture and continue capturing events until Toad completely initializes. At that point, discontinue capturing events (checkbox on the main file menu) or the file will keep growing.
