1. Change the data refresh rates for all the queries
a. Go to 'View | Options'
b. Under 'Data collection' click on 'Data refresh rates'
c. By default it is 15 seconds in foreground and 60 seconds background so please change it to 30 seconds foreground and 120 seconds background
2. The Flash Usage and Latch query takes most of the execution time (about 70%). We can limited the execution interval for these two queries to 10 minutes with the attached support.dat_Minrefresh file.
a. Download the attached file support.dat_Minrefresh
b. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Spotlight on Oracle 10.3\Plug-ins\SoO
c. Paste support.dat_Minrefresh into it
d. Rename 'support.dat_Minrefresh' to 'support.dat'
e. Restart Spotlight
Note: If you have more than one Spotlight Client, you need to do the above steps for all the Spotlight clients.
