After installing the Performance Analysis GUI on a new machine, is there a way to migrate the connection profiles to the new machine?
It is highly recommended to re-create the profiles on the new machine to avoid permissions and compatibility issues.
However, the profiles for Performance Analysis are stored here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Quest Software\Shared\Profiles\
The user should be able to just back them up and copy them over to the new machine, making sure that the users have permissions on the files and the new client machine should be running the same version of the PA GUI as the original client machine.
As verification, please launch the PA GUI client | click on Tools | About and note the version of the PA GUI client and match it to the other PA GUI client.
