I upgraded to latest version of Spotlight on Oracle Xpert edition and have read the documentation.
I do not see a menu item for installing the Predictive Diagnostics functionality.
I also ran the Oracle User Wizard again but still no changes.
How do I get Spotlight to start collecting SQL history for Predictive Diagnostics?
When creating the Oracle account for Spotlight on Oracle Xpert Edition, the User Wizard (click Help | User Wizard) should prompt to Create/Upgrade Predictive Diagnostics Schema.
This will setup/enable the Predictive Diagnostics feature in Spotlight on Oracle Xpert.
Alternatively, if the Spotlight account is already created and Predictive Diagnostics has not been set up, click the Predictive Diagnostics icon on the Spotlight on Oracle Xpert toolbar; this will launch the User Wizard and prompt to Reconfigure existing account to use Spotlight Xpert with Predictive Diagnostics.
Note: if the Predictive Diagnostics icon is not displayed on the Spotlight toolbar, the version installed is the Standard Edition. Please download the Xpert Edition from Support Link and try the steps above
To enable the Predictive Diagnostics you may need to run the PPCM_INSTALL.sql script which is under C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Plug-ins\Ppcm\OracleScripts on the desktop machine where you have Spotlight on Oracle installed.
