How to locate the Desktop Authority Manager Server (4272227)

This information is helpful if a Network Administrator needs to locate the Desktop Authority Manager quickly but the previous Network Administrator did not indicate where the application is installed.

On any of the Domain Controllers, go to Computer Management | Shared Folders | Shares.  Right click NETLOGON and open. Browse to and open the slstart.inifile.

The line that contains DAClientLocation=Server Name indicates the server that the Desktop Authority Manager is installed on.
