The following error message is received when attempting to run a report:
Title: Microsoft .Net Framework
Body: "An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Exception of type System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown."
This problem can occur when there is an issue with .Net Framework 1.1. Occasionally, the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 requires resetting to update its files properly. When this situation occurs, either the application does not work or the buttons in the application stop responding to clicks.
Note: This issue is not related to Desktop Authority.
Perform the following actions on the affected machine
1. Open a command prompt.
2. Make the Microsoft .NET Framework folder your current directory, i.e.
CD C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322
3. Run the following command: aspnet_regiis –i
If unable to register .Net Framework 1.1, it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall .Net Frame Framework 1.1.
