Description
Return Code 1722 The RPC server is unavailable. -
Cause
This Windows message indicates that the spooler service is stopped or that the server that is acting as the print server does not have enough resources. -
Resolution
Try moving the share to another server or recreating the share with updated drivers.
Note: Printer alerts have recently been added to the latest versions. One may assume that the printers have never worked for these users and/or machines but the presence of the alert message is now making you aware that a problem exists when adding certain printers. This message can be suppressed from appearing via Profile Options | Alerts | Events, and you will return to the state that you were in during the previous version.
