Why are some menus items missing in the Tools Menu when Toad 3.0 is not connected to a database? -
Description
When not connected to a database, certain Tools Menu items are missing. Why?

Resolution
There are several reasons why we are doing that:
1. Those functionalities only work when you connect to a database.
2. Some functionalities are enabled and disabled based on what kind of database a user is connecting to. This is may not be obvious for tools menu, but if you look at the create menu, you will notice the difference when you connect to SS 2000 and SS 2005.
3. 99% of time, a user will need a connection when he's using Toad.
