Description
Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise throws the following access violation occasionally.
Access violation at address 00B7FF9F in module 'Spotlight.exe'. Read of address 00000000
Frequency of error ranges from one time occurrence to random intermittent occurrences.

Cause
There is defect in the control used for the ribbon. The access violation may show up when trying to paint one of the buttons on the ribbon. -
