Accessing Views gave error: " Spotlight Statistic Repository on is an earlier version than that required by this version of Spotlight"
Description
When accessing Views, Spotlight throws the following error:
"The Spotlight Statistic Repository on <instance name> is an earlier version than that required by this version of Spotlight. You will need to upgrade this repository to view the data."
Cause
The current Spotlight user does not have access to store procedure dbo.spotlight_ssr_version.
Resolution
Spotlight Views need to be able to run the store procedure dbo.spotlight_ssr_version in the Spotlight Statistic Repository in order to check the version of the repository. Grant the needed rights to run dbo.spotlight_ssr_version.
