In the connection window, depending on the database platform, the server returns a message:
i.e., Password is going to expire.
Usually, Toad products have no association to passwords expirations. This is normally a database security issue. Toad Data Point is merely a GUI interface to access the database. It does not handle database security.
Below are two suggestions to localize the problem and confirm that this issue is not within Toad Data Point.
1. Use the database platform native client with the same login credentials. Does the same message happem within native client? If so, the problem is outside of Toad Data Point.
2. Contact your DBA and confirm the status of your login credentials.
