Toad for Oracle freezing when Team Coding is configured with GIT. -
Description
Git as a VCS is configured with Team-Coding, but any operation against the Git repository freezes the Toad window. -
Cause
CAUSE 1:
Team Coding is not configured with git.exe, but with another executable, e.g. git-cmd.exe.
CAUSE 2:
Anti-virus slows down the work.

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
- Go to Team Coding | Configuration...
- In Team Coding tree select Team Settings and then click on "..." next to dropdown menu
- Select full path to git.exe (e.g. C:\Program Files\Git\bin\git.exe)
RESOLUTION 2:
Switch off the anti-virus scanner or exclude the Git folder.
