Resolution
Use an ASCII editor other than Notepad to edit your custom scripts from within the Desktop Authority Manager.
Two great syntax-highlighting editors are the Visual KiXtart Editor and UltraEdit32. These among others can be used by applying the steps below:
Specify the editor to use for custom scripts using the File Paths tab found by selecting the File | Preferences menu
