Explorer crashes after installing a Wireless Configuration Utility
Description
Explorer crashes after installing a wireless configuration utility.
Cause
Running a wireless configuration utility on the same machine that is also launching Desktop Authority may cause issues with Explorer.exe. After the Desktop Authority logon script has run, Explorer does not start therefore no icons are shown up on the desktop.
Resolution
If this issue is suspected:
1. Remove the wireless configuration utility from add/remove programs. 2. Only install the wireless driver and not the configuration utility. 3. Finally reboot the machine.
