Groups under the "second/third group namespace" OUs are not found under the "LDAP Group Visibility Settings" list after a user that is a member of the groups attempts to login. -
Description
Groups under the "second group namespace" and "third group namespace" OUs are not found in "LDAP Group Visibility Settings" list. A user that is a member of the groups has attempted to log in, but the groups still can't be found. -
Cause
Currently the "LDAP Group Visibility Settings" page only uses the "The scope(s) to search for groups". -
Resolution
STATUS: Fixed in Foglight version 5.7.5.7. The latest version of Foglight can be downloaded here.
WORKAROUND: Change the value of the "scope to search for groups" field when a group in the "second group namespace" or "third group namespace" needs to be added. -
