Compare Data does not properly double the quotes in text values. (4265147)

Running a Compare Data between tables whose VARCHAR2 values contain single quotes (apostrophes). If creating INSERT scripts from the Source Only or Target Only tabs, embedded apostrophes are properly doubled. However, on the Synchronization tab, if specifying a script to be created in the editor, UPDATE statements do double embedded apostrophes within VARCHAR2 values.

WORKAROUND:
On the Synchronization tab, if one specifies DML Array synchronization, the updates go through. However, it will also sweeps in deletes and inserts, and if creating the script for more control, one will be limited.

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Oracle.
