sp_ctrl logon fails with 'Permission denied for command - check your authorization level ' (4263952)

When launched with a LDAP user sp_ctrl  fails with following message

error Permission denied for command - check your authorization level (host=XXXXX:2601)

1. Wrong permissions on .app-modules/adminize -- should have SUID and SGID bits set.

2. The group DBA is defined both locally and in LDAP, and LDAP user was listed only for the LDAP setup. However, sp_cnc used the first entry that happened to be from the local setup.

Workaround:

1. Set the SID using  chmod ug + s adminize
 

2. Recommend removing local definition for group DBA,
