Try pinging the workstation using the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), NETBIOS Name, or IP Address. For troubleshooting purposes, it is assumed that DNS and WINS are working correctly on the network. Check whether Conduits or Access Control Lists (ACL)'s are configured on the Cisco Secure PIX Firewall—The Private Internet eXchange (PIX) Firewall.
Change the port in the Desktop Authority Manager Remote Management element from 2000 to 3000. Save and replicate. Make the necessary changes on the PIX Firewall. The ExpertAssist utility does not need to be reinstalled; just log off, and then log on to the machine.
