Problems that could occur when replicating to multiple domain controllers.
Multiple folders are being created in the SYSVOL shares of domain controllers. The created folder names contain underscores and NTFRS labels such as:
Selecting multiple Domain Controllers as targets for replication within the Desktop Authority Server Manager Applet may cause this behavior due to the nature of how NTFRS replicates folders within SYSVOL. More information on this issue may be found in Microsoft KB328492.
Once this issue has occurred: The errant folders must be restored to their proper state. Instructions on how to clean up the folders can be found in the Microsoft KB article cited above.
To prevent this issue from occurring: Selecting only one domain controller as a target for replication in the Desktop Authority Server Manager applet will prevent this issue from occurring.
