After upgrading to MessageStats 6.10 and upgrading the Blackberry Report Pack to version 1.1.0 there is a duplication of the Users in the reports of the Blackberry Report Pack.
This is due to two reasons:
1. The difference of the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) architecture in recent versions
2. The fact that latest version of MessageStats Report Pack for Blackberry now supports High Availability feature of BES
Whereas in the past BES would associate each user with a physical node, since the concept of High Availablity (HA) was introduced in the product, Virtual node is created regardless of whether HA is actually implemented or not. Thus in recent versions of BES each user is associated with a Virtual node.
With MessageStats 6.10, which now supports the BES HA feature, users were associated with the Virtual node and maintained the association with the physical node hence the duplication we see in the reports (one user associated with the virtual node and one associated with the physical node).
Upgrade to Blackberry Report Pack 1.1.1 or later.
Note: Blackberry Report Pack 1.1.1 was bundled with MessageStats 6.10.1. It is recommended that you also upgrade MessageStats to 6.10.1 or later before upgrading the Blackberry Report pack to 1.1.1 or later.
