Description
The user tries to run the following example in the SQL Editor:
spool C:\books.txt
Select * from Books
and the Editor returns the error:
TOAD Error
"ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement " -
Cause
The incorrect action was used.
The Execute statement icon (Green Arrow) or F9 was used. -
Resolution
Execute the commands using the Execute as Script icon (Lightning Bolt) or F5
