Can MessageStats report on how quickly mailboxes respond to emails?
In a scenario where customers email a Customer Service department and management wants to see how quickly Customer Service replies. They are currently using for this Mailbox Auditing (sent and Received) and are auditing large number of mailboxes. However because these are 2 different reports it's impossible with the amount of data they have to analyze (>200,000 rows). Even by copying and pasting the reports together there's no easy way in Excel to organize the data in such an order that emails that are part of the same conversation appear on consecutive lines. Is there a better way of reporting on this in MessageStats or are we looking here at an enhancement request? Could there be an enhancement where the 2 reports (Sent and Received) are combined?
STATUS
This is not currently feasible in MessageStats. Enhancement Request TF00095077 has been raised for this feature to be included in a future release of Messagestats
WORKAROUND
None
There is currently no information in the Exchange Tracking Log that links messages that are replied to with their originating delivered message. One logic would be to base it on the subject, but if the subjects were altered by the user, that assumption would fall apart
