Solution: Execute the following steps to drag and drop the ASM Instance Total object onto the dashboard and select the properties that should be displayed:

1). Drag and drop the "ASM Instance Total" object for an instance from the "Data" tab (in the right-hand panel) onto the dashboard.

The ASM Instance Total object should be under one of the following locations, depending on whether a separate ASM agent is used to collect the data. Please see page 1 of the Example_asm_data.docx file.

The first location is where the data will be if a separate ASM agent is used. The second location is where the data will be if a separate ASM agent is not used.

Management Server > All Data> DBO Data Model > Oracle Data Model > Clusters > Instance Name > Instances > Instance Name > asm_statistics > Asm Instance Total

Management Server > All Data> DBO Data Model > Oracle Data Model > Clusters > Instance Name > Database> ASM Instance Total

2). Choose "Select Properties" when the window with the following choices is displayed:

Select metrics...
Select properties...
Select a view...

3). Put check marks next to the properties you want to display. Please see page 3 of the Example_asm_data.docx file.

4). Click Finish.
