This can be caused by incorrect TCPIP settings on the workstation being moved. During the move process Resource Updating Manager checks the value of remote computers' full dns domain name in the registry. If the registry entry is not found, the error is displayed.
1. Access the registry of the workstation being moved and see if the following value exists
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\NV Domain
key and hass a value set. If it does not exist, create the key and set the corresponding value by hand or join the computer to target domain manually.
