If you are wondering why Toad shows spaces instead of Tabs when you set the option
TOAD option use tabs and show control characters is checked.
When selecting multiple lines of a text in editor and press<tab></tab>to fill each line with tabs, then the lines are filled with blanks instead of tabs. -
