How do you configure link tracking for use with SharePoint Online?
Resolution
Follow these steps to use client-side link tracking for SharePoint Online Migrations:
In the download package for Migrator for Notes to SharePoint (MNSP) will be the Quest.SandboxLinkRedirector.wsp solution. Upload and activate this solution in the solution gallery (Site Settings and click Solutions under the Web Designer Galleries heading) for your target SharePoint Online site collection.
From the MNSP Client please ensure the following is configured
Link tracking - Options | Link Tracking Tab. Ensure the link tracking service is enabled and that the SQL server and database details are correct. Specify your credentials to access this database and test connection to ensure connectivity
Leave the URL redirector option to "Use default redirector URL"
Click on the SharePoint tab
Add in your SharePoint Online site.
Change the authentication type to Office 365 Authentication
Ensure you have installed Windows Identify Foundation on the workstation where the MNSP client is installed.
On the SharePoint tab click on Settings.
Ensure the Link Tracking service is enabled. Click OK
Click on the credentials at the bottom of the screen
Supply the correct credentials to access the SharePoint Online site.
Click on "Test Connections" to verify that the user account can authenticate.
Go back to the MNSP designer and configure your migration source and target.
These links will always point to Lotus Notes until you finalize them using the MNSP Console.
When you finalize the links in the MNSP Console any document link the refers to a migrated item will be replaced with the correct SharePoint link to that item.
Any document link that refers to an item that has not been migrated will remain with the redirect to Lotus Notes
