Rapid Recovery Wizard does not override workflow/migration rules

According to the administrator guide in the online books for stat the Rapid Recovery wizard can override workflow state: "The Rapid Recovery window should only be used in emergency situations since it overrides several CSR migration rules, including migration approvals, workflow status, and object locks. Because overriding object locks creates the risk of overwriting another user’s work, access to the Rapid Recovery window is controlled by its own security right and should be restricted." I have found this to not be the case however.

Currently Rapid Recovery Wizard does not override workflow rules. However we will fix this wizard to work like release recovery in Stat 5.7.0. As a workaround, create an additonal user class with the override user rights and assign that user class to the user if needed.
