After upgrade the Foglight Agent Manager some of the hosts displayed in "Administration | Agents | Agent Hosts" are still displaying the old version. But the upgrade ended successful.
When looking in the log files of the Agent Manager it can be seen that the new version is in use:
"2011-01-14 14:51:10.981 VERBOSE [FglAM Startup Thread] com.quest.glue.core.Glue - Foglight Agent Manager 5.5.4.10 (build 55410-20101220-1141) on windows x86_64 5.2, Java 1.5.0_16 (64 bit)"
When running "fglam.exe -v" the correct version is displayed:
C:\<FGLAM_HOME>\bin>fglam.exe -v
Foglight Agent Manager 5.5.4.10
Copyright (c) 2010 Quest Software Inc.
Build Number: 55410-20101220-1141 (64-bit)
Client Binary Directory:
C:\<FGLAM_HOME>\5.5.4.10-55410-20101220-1141
The Agent Manager Service has failed to pick up the new version
Recreate the service following the steps below:
To remove the service run:
<FGLAM_HOME>\bin\fglam.exe --remove-service
Check that the service no longer exists.
To recreate the service run:
<FGLAM_HOME>\bin\fglam.exe --install-service
