Getting "necessary Oracle files are not installed" message or "necessary DB2 files are not installed" when entering license key.
WORKAROUND 1:
1. In C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for SQL Server x.x find the license.key file.
2. Delete the license.key file.
3. Launch Toad and enter your license key and site message again.

Upgrade to latest version of Toad for SQL Server:

If you are unable to upgrade to the latest version, please contact the Licensing Dept. and request that a key be cut which will work with your particular version. You can do this using the following link, please provide your key details when making this request.
