Ability to keep editor windows open after disconnect (4249870)

Is it possible to keep my TOAD editor windows open after I disconnect from the database. Basically, I'd like to be able to work "offline". Currently when I disconnect my session, Toad closes all my open editor windows.

There is not a way to keep the Editor window open when disconnecting from a database. However, if you save the contents of the Editor prior to closing it, you would be able to re-open the saved file in an Editor window that is not connected to a database.

When you disconnect you should be asked if you want to save what was in Editor. Go ahead and save it. Then select Database | Editor and then File | Open File.
