Is it possible to clear the open file drop downs in SQL Modeler? If a file is open and saved in the drop down and then it is moved, it still shows the old path where there is no file.
WORKAROUND:
1. Make sure the SQL Modeler window is closed in SQL Navigator.
2. Find the DataModeler.ini file in this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name></user_name>\Application Data\Quest Software\SQL Navigator 5.5.2\TEMPS.
3. Open the DataModeler.ini file and find the [LASTFILES] entry at the bottom of the file - listing recently opened models, each with assigned .DML file.
4. Delete the lines referencing any of the files you want removed from the drop down list.
5. Close and save the DataModeler.ini file.
6. Go to the folder that you saved the model to and remove pairs of files with extension of .DML and .QRY for the entry you want to remove from the drop down list. You can delete these or move them to another directory.
7. Go to the SQL Modeler and you should not see them in the drop down anymore.
STATUS:
Enhancement request CR0227939 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future releaseof SQL Navigator for Oracle toallow users to clear the list from the SQL Modeler window.
