When launching Toad, it hangs on the flash screen with the message "getting license information".
Toad is not actually hanging. The window that the license key should be entered into is hidden.
WORKAROUND #1:
Use Alt+Space Bar to move the windows around and the Registration window, where the key should be entered, will become visible.
WORKAROUND #2:
1) Create a text file in the Toad for Oracle directory named QSAuth11.key.
2) Copy and paste your license key in the first line of the file and the site message in the second line of the file , so it looks like the following.
